Private aurora hunts

The idea

Every experience here is reserved for the party alone. The guide works only for you, the husky team and snowmobiles are yours, and the pace is set by you rather than by a convoy.

The base is a private villa high on the fell above Levi, with its own sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and fireplace. On a clear night you watch the sky from the terrace. Kittilä Airport is about 20 minutes away.

Day 1

Arrival

Private driver from Kittilä Airport to the villa. A private chef cooks the welcome dinner in your kitchen. From the first evening we follow the forecast and cloud cover.

Day 2

Private husky day

About 8 km behind your own dog team, self-driving with a private guide, and lunch by the fire in a kota. Free afternoon for skiing or the sauna. Dinner by an open fire in a traditional Lapland restaurant.

Day 3

Snowmobile expedition

One snowmobile each and a private guide for 4–5 hours across forest, frozen lakes and fell viewpoints, with ice fishing and a wilderness lunch. Dinner on the fell among the glass igloos.

Day 4

SnowVillage

Private transfer to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Lainio and a private tour of the snow and ice architecture. Arctic seafood and king crab for dinner in Levi.

An optional overnight in an ice suite with a private kota sauna, subject to the season's configuration.

Day 5

Reindeer and Lapland life

A private visit to a reindeer family: feeding, a sleigh ride and an introduction to life in the north. Last dinner by the private chef at the villa or in a long-established Levi restaurant.

Day 6

Departure

Breakfast at the villa and a private transfer to Kittilä Airport.
