The idea
Helsinki is compact enough to see on foot, and a national park starts half an hour from the centre. Three days there give the group the city, the sea and the forest before going north.
Rovaniemi sits on the Arctic Circle with its airport ten minutes from town. The Lapland half is built around one large activity a day, with evenings at a private log chalet, the snow restaurant and an aurora fire.

Day 1
Arrival, Helsinki
Met at the airport, 30 minutes into the centre. Lunch by Senate Square from Finnish forest and lake produce, a walking tour of the centre, check-in and welcome dinner.

Day 2
Nuuksio National Park
Snowshoeing, fatbiking, ice fishing or an easy hike, 50 minutes from the city. Lunch cooked by a chef in a heated wooden hut by candle and fire. Evening dinner of traditional Finnish dishes.

Day 3
Ice floating and island sauna
Floating in the frozen Baltic in survival suits, about 1.5 hours. Lunch on Uunisaari island with two private shoreline saunas and an optional dip in the sea.
Guests choose
Pub tram
A 1950s tram as a moving bar through the city, up to 30 guests, 1.5 hours.

Day 4
North to Rovaniemi
Morning flight to Rovaniemi. Thermal clothing at the airport, then reindeer sleighs through the forest to a farm for the Arctic Circle crossing ceremony and lunch. Dinner at a private 1967 log chalet built as a retreat for President Kekkonen, with wood-fired sauna and an ice hole.

Day 5
Snowmobiles and the snow restaurant
Five to six hours on snowmobiles across forest and frozen lakes, ice fishing and lunch outdoors. In the evening a guided visit to the Arctic SnowHotel and three courses in the snow restaurant at −2 to −5 °C.

Day 6
Motorsport day and aurora fire
Teams rotate through rally driving, reverse-steering cars, cross cars, ATVs and a pit-stop challenge, with prizes at the end and lunch in a Lappish restaurant. After dark, a fire outside the city to watch for the aurora.
Guests choose
Santa Claus Village
Optional afternoon on the Arctic Circle with a guide or on your own.

Day 7
Husky farm
Lunch at the farm, time with the dogs, then 5–6 km driving your own team in pairs. Free afternoon, with e-fatbikes, snowshoes or ice karting on request.

Day 8
Departure
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Rovaniemi Airport.
